David Zaks is a jazz pianist and composer from Hoboken, currently based in New York City.

He is a graduate of the William Paterson University, where he studied under Harold Mabern, and is the recipient of many awards, including the Downbeat “Jazz Arrangement” award. He has performed at acclaimed venues and clubs, both domestically and internationally (Carnegie Hall, Smoke Jazz Club, Fat Cat, Mezzrow, etc), and has collaborated with many renowned musicians (Winard Harper, Duane Eubanks, Don Hahn, Tatiana Eva-Marie, etc).
